Ariadne’s Garden of Spiritual Arts Information for guests & facilitators

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Ariadne’s Garden different from other retreat venues?

We are not a resort.
We are a curated field.

A 5-acre sanctuary rooted in Gaia-inspired philosophy, sacred geometry architecture, intuitive arts, and embodied practice.

People don’t just stay here.
They recalibrate.

Is this a retreat center or an artist residency?

Both.

We host mindfulness and embodied retreats, and we also welcome painters, writers, musicians, and performers for focused creative residencies.

Self-inquiry and artistry bloom side by side here.

What spaces are available on site?

• “The Core of Gaia” — 50 sqm indoor sacred geometry hall
• 100 sqm outdoor yoga & arts pavilion
• The Fire Tower — circular stone gathering space
• Spiral walking meditation garden
• 65 sqm fully equipped art studio (in Galaxidi)
• Library, kitchen, guest rooms, restrooms

Mountains above. Sea below. Silence in between.

How many people can you host?

We are ideal for small to medium groups who value intimacy and depth.
Exact capacity depends on accommodation mix (on-site + hotel).

We prioritize quality of experience over maximum numbers.

What accommodation options do you offer?

• On-site dormitory
• Pyramid tents in the garden
• Partner hotels in Galaxidi (walking distance to sea)

Comfortable, simple, and close to nature.
If you are looking for marble bathtubs and infinity pools — that’s not us.

What kind of food do you serve?

Homemade Mediterranean vegetarian cuisine using local, seasonal ingredients.

Nourishing. Grounding. Honest.

Vegan and gluten-free options available.

And occasionally… my mother may appear in the kitchen. That is considered an upgrade.

Do you organize visits to Delphi?

Yes.

We offer guided visits to the archaeological site of Delphi, with the option of integrating a movement ritual inspired by the Delphic oracle.

We approach the site with reverence — and comfortable shoes.

Can facilitators enrich their retreat with your workshops?

Yes.

Signature experiences include somatic Hatha yoga, Yoga Nidra, intuitive painting, embodied dance therapy, aerial yoga, and Delphi immersion work.

These are curated and personally held by Dimitra Natskouli, founder of Ariadne’s Garden.

Can we rent the venue without accommodation?

Yes.

The venue is available for independent rental for workshops, seminars, rehearsals, therapy groups, and private events.

Daily Rental: €500
Includes agreed-use spaces, light snack service, tea and coffee.

Hourly Rental: €70 per hour

Who is behind Ariadne’s Garden?

Dimitra Natskouli (Ieri Pnoi) — visionary artist and dance therapist.

The garden was born from her long-standing relationship with the Gaia archetype and her work with myth, shadow, and embodied awareness.

She personally oversees the venue and its curation.

Is this place suitable for beginners?

Yes — if they are curious and open.

No prior artistic or spiritual experience is required.
Only willingness.

How do we get there from Athens?

Morning swims are common.
They are not mandatory, but highly persuasive.
