At the Spring Equinox, light and darkness meet in perfect balance—and life begins to rise again.
This retreat is inspired by the Eleusinian Mysteries and the myth of Persephone, whose return from the underworld marks the rebirth of nature and the renewal of the soul. We embody the myth, allowing its symbols to unfold its message in our private life, through intuitive arts.
At Ariadne’s Garden of Spiritual Arts, creativity is a pathway of self-discovery: The arts are approached as inner listening practices. Through clay, painting, yoga, singing, breath, and dance therapy, participants tune with their inner circles to claim back the vitality and joy of the inner child.
No artistic or movement experience is required—only curiosity and openness.

Day 1 – Earth | Arrival & Grounding
Persephone & the Sacred Cycle
• Welcoming &Walking meditation at the spiral (4pm)
• Decoding the myth of Persephone: From the myth to embodied meaning
• Clay play & creation of a personal totem
Earth teaches us arriving & belonging.
Day 2 – Water | Flow & Emotional Intelligence
• Morning somatic movement
• Intuitive painting (evening)
• Restorative evening practice
Water restores sensitivity & inner listening.
Day 3 – Fire | Expression & Joy
• Archetypal yoga (morning)
• Singing & voice workshop by the fire (evening)
• Evening reflections
Fire awakens confidence, joy, and creative spark.
Day 4 – Air | Inspiration & Vision
• Pranayama & balance yoga
• Guided visit to the Oracle of Delphi Temple of Apollo & Kastallia Spring
• Elemental Dance Therapy (all elements)or Dancing the oracles
Air opens perspective and meaning.
Day 5 – Integration | Dancing the Return

At the Autumn Equinox, day and night meet once more, inviting us to slow down, reflect, and return inward.
This retreat is inspired by the Eleusinian Mysteries and the myth of Persephone’s descent—the sacred movement from visibility into the unseen. Rather than focusing on loss, this journey honors harvest, wisdom, and inner ripening.
At Ariadne’s Garden of Spiritual Arts, intuitive arts guide us through this seasonal threshold with gentleness and clarity. Creativity is a tool for listening, integrating, and letting go.
Over five days, we weave together:

• Somatic and mindfulness practices
• Healing voice and dream yoga workshops
• Myth, archetypal reflection, and circle work
• A sacred day visit to the Oracle of Delphi
Set by the sea, Galaxidi—the historic birthplace of Greek sailors—is ideal for serene & recharging holidays that naturally support rest, reflection, and joy.
